Our Care

An integral part of our Life Care program is to develop individual care plans which provide a holistic approach to meeting residents’ needs. Care plans are reviewed regularly to ensure they continue to meet the mental, spiritual and physical well-being needs of each of our residents. Care plans are administered by our carefully selected staff including registered nurses, who are on hand to provide care 24 hours a day. Due to the deep understanding for the needs of the aged, our staff create special bonds with residents whilst caring for and respecting them. We also have visiting specialist services for physiotherapy, podiatry, a dietitian, dentistry work and speech therapy.

With the dedicated and professional staff at Menarock Life Salisbury House aged care residence Upper Beaconsfield we provide a separate secure wing for dementia including those living with advancing dementia.

Our Dining

Meals are prepared daily by our qualified Chefs who create delicious home style options. Fresh ingredients are used with varied selections each day for our residents to savour. A qualified dietitian ensures that the specific nutritional needs of our residents are met. This includes catering for religious and cultural requirements. Special requests, celebrations and any other special occasion are all satisfied by our catering team. Family members are also most welcome to join us at meal times. Whilst we encourage residents to eat in the dining room, a tray service is available for those who prefer to eat in the privacy of their own room.

Our Lifestyle

Residents may choose to relax on the secure balcony overlooking the bay in the distance, listening to the abundance of native birds singing in our gardens. Reading from our library or attending an onsite Chapel service can play important roles in enhancing residents lives. Residents can involve themselves in one of the many activities we run because of the multiple communal spaces we have.

‘Live Life’ is the lifestyle team’s passion, offering activities, recreation and therapeutic programs including card, board and word games, crafts, gardening. We also go out on regular outings. We celebrate special events and major days on the calendar as a community.

Involvement of family and loved ones is encouraged and embraced. Menarock Life Salisbury House aged care residence Upper Beaconsfield is an easy 10 minute drive from Berwick, Narre Warren, Pakenham and the hills areas of Cockatoo and Emerald.

Testimonials

My husband is in care with dementia, and he is treated with respect and kindness. The staff in his unit are very caring and he doesn’t get told off for doing the wrong thing or going where he shouldn’t like he did in previous homes.
