Aged Care Residence Glen Waverley
Having just lost my wife the care shown could not have been better. Staff are extremely good.
My parents have both been through the difficult process of changes in their health that have meant they can no longer live independently and require full time care. After 64 years of marriage finding a facility that would take them both was most important. My family have been so impressed and grateful to Rosehill from the first contact with its manager, we have been guided and supported through this complex process from Cleo to every member of staff, we have found kindness, compassion, and respect. My parents are settling in well and I feel they are in the best place, they have now been residents for 3 months. Thank you Rosehill for setting the standards high and keeping the caring in aged care
I liked the way I was called by my first name. This made me feel at home. The staff were friendly, approachable and supportive from the top down. Issues were dealt with immediately with positive outcome. I was included in all the events from being taken outside for a walk along the road to making Easter baskets. I was happy to join the exercises and watching DVD’s on the big screen. I especially liked sitting out in the court yard listening to the water feature and the budgies.
I came for 4 weeks respite and now I want to stay permanently. I was living by myself after losing my wife of 60 years in 2014 and I was not coping. Now I feel safe and well cared for and can live very comfortably with the memories of my wife. All the staff are marvellous and very caring; they make me feel like I get extra special attention.
I have been visiting this facility for some months and am very impressed with the care and commitment from staff towards the residents. An absolute pleasure to visit here.
The staff have been very helpful and supportive especially during the time following the passing of my mother earlier this year. They have supported Dad through this and tried to keep him interested and motivated which has at times been a challenge. Thanks to all involved for their help and support.
How fortunate was our family and in particular our mother to find and be accepted at Murrayvale Aged Care facility. At a difficult time, and after hospitalisation due to a fall in her home, we visited several age care facilities. Fortune smiled on us and we were blessed to find her accommodation at Murrayvale in a homely, caring and professionally run age care facility. As a family we were naturally concerned that the move would be difficult for all, but after a few short days Mum settled into her new surrounds and loves the friendly staff. We were finally able to relax and not worry 24 hours a day for her safety and care. It is now a pleasure to visit Mum and hear her stories of how good the staff are to her. We know she is well cared for and the staff are always helpful if we have any questions. Mum has gained a little weight, is eating again, enjoys the food and is cared for how she prefers. Our sincere thanks to all the staff at Murrayvale Age Care, the place Mum now happily refers to as Home.
Very caring staff for Resident and attentive to keep next of Kin up to date with all circumstances (I am interstate and somewhat distant from my Sister). I am encouraged by the whole operation of Sherbrooke
The Aged Care Home we have our Mother in is excellent. We feel very fortunate to have been able to get Mum into this home, she is very well looked after, is as happy as she can be considering her illness and the staff are excellent friendly and go above and beyond. We cannot recommend this facility highly enough just fantastic. Thank you.
My husband is in care with dementia, and he is treated with respect and kindness. The staff in his unit are very caring and he doesn’t get told off for doing the wrong thing or going where he shouldn’t like he did in previous homes.
