Menarock Life caters for two aged care stay types:
Short stays, called respite care; and
Respite stays are designed mainly with the intent of giving the residents primary carer a rest. A resident can have up to 63 days of respite care per financial year with approval from the Australian Government.
Most respite stays are of two to three week’s duration. Carers take this opportunity to have multiple breaks from caring over the year. At Menarock Life respite stay residents are encouraged to join in with the life of the residence and they will receive the same quality care as a permanent resident.
Sometimes a persons need for care reaches a point such that they need to have someone available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At this point living in a residential aged care home may be a requirement.
As with respite care, people seeking permanent care will need to have approval from the Australian Government to move into a such residence.
What's it like in an aged care home?
It’s like moving home, residents will have their own bed and private space. Each Menarock Life residence is equipped with sitting rooms, dining rooms, gardens and other spaces. Menarock Life provides 24 hour care and supports each resident to live the life they want to live. There are three meals a day, with snacks as well.
Residents can come and go when they please, while family and friends are welcome at all times.

Length of stay
